League Report Match Report: Aduana Stars Pip Hearts of Lions
JAN 25, 2015 LISTEN

It was all smiles at the Agyemang Badu Park when Aduana Stars hosted Hearts of Lions on Match day three of the Ghana Premier League.

Milisav Bogdanovic boys returned to winning ways against Hearts of Lions after the midweek one-all draw against New Edubiase.

Yussif Abubakar, true to his words after the match day two defeat to Great Olympics, change personnel to his back line, But Aduana Stars continued their dominance over the Kpando based club, recording their seventh win in 11 games.

It was a game on equal terms until Richard Arhin scored from 12 yards. He earned the penalty and converted it himself on the 35th minute when he was bundled in the box after almost weaving his way past Hearts of Lions defence.

Coach Yussif Abubakar's boys came out of their blocks to threaten Aduana Stars, but could hardly create any goal scoring chances. Aduana, playing before their fans, were more confident on the ball.

Hoping to avoid a second defeat in a week, Hearts of Lions pushed for the equaliser, but Aduana kept their composure and made little mistakes for the Kpando boys to exploit.

Hearts of Lions could do little to avoid the defeat to good Aduana Stars who are fired up to win the Ghana Premier League for the second time in 5 years.
