Senegal coach Alain Giresse says 2015 Africa Cup of Nations' Group of Death is living up to its reputation insisting that the group will be decided on the final day on Tuesday even though his team has the edge.

Senegal are in pole position and are just a point away from the quarter-finals after coming from behind to draw with Bafana Bafana.

Ghana now know that they will qualify for the quarter-finals as long as they can beat South Africa on Tuesday in Mongomo.

Algeria also know that a win against Senegal in Malabo will definitely take them through which has led Giresse to conclude that the group is really difficult.

“Nothing is settled. The final day will be fatal. That shows how difficult a group this is, “ Senegal's French coach Alain Giresse said.

Senegal lead the group with four points while Ghana are second with three with Algeria third on three while South Africa have one point.

Senegal need a point from their last Group C tie to reach the African Nations Cup quarter-finals after drawing with South Africa while Ghana raised their hopes with a late winner against Algeria on Friday.

Senegal are top with four points followed by Algeria and Ghana on three and South Africa on one with one match to go.

All four countries have a chance to qualify but a draw against Algeria in Malabo on Tuesday will be enough to take the Senegalese through.

Victory for Ghana over South Africa at the same time in Mongomo will also earn them a ticket to the last eight.
