JAN 24, 2015 LISTEN

Guinea came from behind to force a 1-1 draw against Cameroon in the final Group D game of Saturday, leaving all four sides in the section sitting on two points apiece following draws by the identical scoreline in all four group games thus far at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

26 year old Benjamin Moukandjo Bilé gave Cameroon the lead after 13 minutes at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo with a spectacular backheel but Guinea captain and livewire, Ibrahima Traore equalised for the Syli Nationale with three minutes of the first half remaining and it stayed that way.

No goals were recorded in the second half as both countries retained their quarter finals qualification hopes after the other match day 2 tie in the group earlier in the day also finished deadlocked, 1-1 between West African rivals, Ivory Coast and Mali.

All four teams can still qualify with a win on the final match day of the group come Wednesday when Ivory Coast face Cameroon whilst Mali and Guinea slug it out in an all West Africa affair when both matches will be played concurrently.

All four teams have scored two goals in their two matches and conceded the same number of goals each.

2015 Africa Cup of Nations action continues on Sunday when Group A tackle their final group fixtures, hosts Equatorial Guinea face neighbours, Gabon at the Estadio de Bata at the same time Congo and Burkina Faso will be slugging it out at the Nuevo Estadio de Ebebiyin. Follow @thedonplato
