Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah spent his Christmas holidays at his base in Italy with his wife and son – refusing to take full advantage of the permission given him by his club to travel to Ghana.
The 26-year-old is currently in recovery having undergone successful surgery to fix a knee injury.
Asamoah was given permission to travel o Ghana to join his friends and families for the Christmas festivities.
But the Ghana international instead decided to stay at bay with his wife and son during the yuletide.
The former Udinese man gathered around a Christmas tree with gifts beneath and his son to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
“Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas,” he posted with an accompanying picture.
The skillful midfielder will not be part of Ghana's squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations due to his injury.
He is expected to be out for three months.
