A multitude of Black Stars players and officials were at Accra Sports Stadium on Friday night to support Asamoah Gyan's boxing promotion.

Gyan's whose event was under the promotional title, 'Who rules the ring?', was able to attract AFCON-bound players Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, the Ayew brothers.

Ghana assistant coach Maxwell Konadu and team manager Saban Quaye were at ringside.

Ex-internationals Stephen Appiah, Tony Baffoe and Cameroon assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko showed up.

South Africa-based John Paintsi was there to support the current Black Stars captain Gyan.

Asante Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson made it to the bout.

Ghana FA Executive member Linear Addy spotted at ringside.

High profile dignitaries from the boxing including legend Azumah Nelson, who has just returned from the United States where he was honoured the best WBC Super featherweight boxer, graced the occasion.

President of the Ghana Boxing Authority Peter Zwennes could not have missed.

Former WBA welterweight champiom Ike Bazooka Quartey, also former IBF welterweight titlist Joshua Clottey,  Alfred Kotey and Nana Yaw Konadu.

The pair of popular Africa cruiserweight boxer Bukom Banku (Braimah Kamoko and Ayitey Powers were around.
