A captain's calling: Black Stars show up to support Asamoah Gyan's boxing

Andre Ayew and brothers, Rahim and Jordan were among the first to show up at tonight's boxing show at the Accra Sports Stadium in exhibition of full support to Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan whose BabyJet Promotions are staging the fight night dubbed 'Who rules the ring?'

Also present here are members of the national team technical team including assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu and Team Manager, Sabahn Quaye as well as GFA Executive Committee member, Linear Addy.

Former Black Stars skipper, Stephen Appiah and former national team defender, John Paintsil has also arrived whilst Asante Kotoko star, Abeiku Ainooson is also well dressed and up for the occasion here at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Tony Baffoe, Ibrahim Tanko (Cameroon assistant coach), Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and others are also fully represented.

It's a night of boxing and the boxing gurus and legends have not left anything to chance, legend Azumah Nelson, former world champiom Ike Bazooka Quartey, also former world champion Joshua Clottey, Alfred 'Cobra' Kotey, 'Marvelous' Nana Yaw Konadu, undefeated Bukom Banku (Braimah Kamoko), his rival, Ayitey Powers as well as Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) President, Peter Zwennes and his lieutenants.

Hiplife hotshot, Samini is here along with a host of celebrities including Miss Vee, Kwesi Pee and Luther who even mounted the ring to perform.
