Ghana striker Majeed Waris contributes to the construction of a mosque in Turkey

Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris is helping with the construction of a mosque in Turkey.

The 23-year-old who is a Muslim has been making contributions to the completion of the place of worship in Trabzon.

Waris is making these contributions despite reports he is heading for the exits at Trabzonspor.

The former BK Hacken star is desperate for the successful completion of the state of the art mosque.

“I came to Turkey as a Muslim country. It is a great idea to help build a Mosque,” he said.

“This project is also very nice and a sample application, I am looking forward to the completion of the Mosque construction.”
