League Report Kotoko Fans Urged To Keep Calm
DEC 19, 2014 LISTEN

Opoku Nti, Kotoko CEO
Supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been admonished to keep calm and allow peace to reign in the team.

Ali Maradona, Kotoko's Spokesperson, was of the strong conviction that total peace was what Kotoko needed at this time.

The Porcupine Warriors have not known peace since Ashantigold trekked to Kumasi to beat them 2-0 last Sunday.

Scores of the red army fans that watched the game became incensed after the miners humiliated their idol club and demanded the head of Opoku Nti, the Kotoko CEO and Coach Didi Dramani.

According to the fans, the Porcupine Warriors were far from their best so they were afraid the team would be humiliated in Africa.

Commenting on the issue, Ali Maradona said he understood the pain and anguish of the fans, but explained that Kotoko/Ashgold games were local derby fixtures which were hard to predict all over the world.

According to the top Kotoko official, it was not true that Kotoko were not strong and ready for Africa.

Ali Maradona said Kotoko were in top shape therefore the defeat to Ashgold should not be used to judge the team.
