DEC 11, 2014 LISTEN

Father of Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari; Alhaji Muniru Sulley, has warned the Ghana Football Association (GFA) not to influence the decision of newly appointed   Coach Avram Grant on the readmission of  his son and two others Michael Essien and Kevin Prince Boateng to the national team.

The three Players have been suspended by the GFA following acts of misconduct at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

But Alhaji Muniru in an interview with JOY sports challenged an earlier declaration by GFA Spokesperson Saani Daara that the recommended Muntari will only be giving a look by Avram Gant after an official apology.

Alhaji in an exclusive interview says he wants no interference with Grants final decision on his son's return.

"The statement by Saani Daara that unless the boys apologize they can't be taken, means they have started dictating to the Coach. The coach knows what to do, if they had their way round Ghanaian coaches, this is a neutral Coach; allow him to do his job. Am not saying Muntari should not apologize, am insisting that the Ghana FA must not interfere in the Grant final decision on whether Muntari rejoins the Black Stars or not."Alhaji Muniru intimated.

Muntari was suspended after he physically attacked Ghana FA executive Member, Moses Armah Parker on the eve of Ghana's final group game against Portugal.

Muntari was hours later thrown out of the Ghana camp and has since been slapped with an indefinite suspension from the team alongside Kevin-Prince Boateng who is reported to have insulted then Coach Kwesi Appiah.

Meanwhile, Coach Avram Grant is on tour of Europe to update his database of Ghanaians playing abroad  and he is  likely,  he will meet up with the suspended Stars at various clubs.
