Kwesi Nyantakyi
The Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi will today Thursday November 27, 2014 relinquish his position as head of the Black Stars management committee.

Officials of the Ghana FA meet today to deliberate over major shake-ups expected to hit the various national teams.

Nyantakyi is stepping down to free him of the workload involved coupled with his main responsibility as FA boss and an executive committee member of Caf.

The man under whose tenure the Black Stars qualified for three consecutive World Cups - 2006, 2010 and 2014 - has come under sharp criticism recently for having so much on his plate.

F ormer FA vice-president, Fred Pappoe, who was head of the team's management during Ghana's successful World Cup campaigns in 2006 and 2010, could take up the post.
