[caption id="attachment_274692" align="aligncenter" width="360"] Kwesi Nyantakyi[/caption]Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi remains unwavering despite recent criticism and says his detractors are 'envious' of his achievements and confident God will see him through these trying times. The world respected football chief has come under line of fire in recent times following the country's wrecked World Cup campaign in Brazil.Ex-Ghana internationals Sammy Kuffuor and Laryea Kingson have led the charge for his removal despite the modest success chalked under his ten-year reign. There are many faceless individuals who are keen to see the back of the All Stars owner and have deployed several strategies including deliberate smear campaign to get him out of office, heaping unsubstantiated allegations of  corruption against him.The delay in the start of the Ghana Premier League has not helped matters with critics holding onto the setback to launch the onslaught on the CAF Executive Committee member.Ofeibea Ramatu has joined Vincent Sowah Odotei as the two candidates who have publicly declared their intention to contest the incumbent FA boss even though it's widely believed the beautiful woman is only being used as a smokescreen. The 52-year-old says he will soldier on to lead the federation for a third time running despite the mounting challenge to his seat.“The 2015 GFA election is the reason why some people say all kind of bad things about and I am sure that the people who voted for me to power as the GFA president are pleased with the sot of job I have done so far,” Kwesi Nyantakyi said.“Some people level force allegation on me that I have stolen money, but they are not able to substantiate and this is because they envy me. They have mapped up communist tactics to fight against me.“I know God will see me through and deal with my detractor for the blatant lies they always cook about me”Nyantakyi has chalked modest successes since he assumed the role in 2005, leading the Black Stars to a hat-trick of World Cup appearances while securing multiple deals for the national teams and the local league. He has sued one of Ghana's leading sports station Asempa FM and their presenters Patrick Osei Agyemang (Countryman Songo) and Kofi Asare Brako (Abatay) for constant corruption allegations against him.
