Ghana striker Prince Tagoe has been declared a free man by the Nima Police after it was determined there was no case against him.

The 28-year-old was reported to have been involved in a shooting incident at a night club in Accra.

One corporal Dela is quoted to have told Kumasi-based Fox FM that the former TSG Hoffenhein and Bursaspor striker was a wanted man by the Nima Police.

But after a meeting between Tagoe and his lawyer on one side and the commander of the Nima Police Station, the former Ghana Premier League Goal King was declared a free man.

“After a meeting today between the Lawyer and the Chief Commander at Nima Police Station, the Chief reveals that “There is no Case about Prince Tagoe and no one has lodged any complains about him or a nite-club shooting at Paloma,” the striker posted on Instagram

“And also there's no Corporal Dela in this Police Station, this is ridiculous.”

Tagoe is also said to have been involved in a similar incident in the past but there is no evidence to that effect.

The ex Hearts of Oak hitman is in Ghana having cancelled his contract with Malaysian club Kelantan FA.
