Turkey Super Lig side Eskisehirspor could finally have central defender Jerry Akaminko back into action in a matter of weeks after he began intensified training at the club.
The 26-year-old took to the pitch for the first time in months and joined Eskisehirspor's medical team members - Sarav and Shehnaz Khan as he stepped up the ladder to full recovery.
Akaminko has been out of action since suffering a horrific injury while in action for Ghana against the Netherlands in a pre-World Cup friendly.
Eskisehirspor have suffered in the absence of the Ghanaian defender as they have conceded soft goals and dropped to 15th place on the Turkish top-flight table.
