Schalke yet to discuss Kevin Boateng's future

[caption id="attachment_271903" align="aligncenter" width="364"] Kevin-Prince Boateng[/caption] Schalke have yet to open contract extension talks with Kevin-Prince Boateng as he remains tied to the club until 2016. It was initially suggested that the Ghana international had penned a four-year deal upon his arrival from AC Milan in 2013.Schalke, though, say the agreement was for three years with the option for a further 12 months.That clause is yet to be explored, along with possible fresh terms, as Boateng has offered no indication that he is unhappy in Germany.Chairman of Schalke's supervisory board Clemens Tonnies told   BILD: “Kevin-Prince Boateng has a contract with our club that lasts three years.“This deal has an option. The contract option implies that the deal will be automatically extended by one campaign if he plays a certain amount of first team games for Schalke.“There are currently no talks on a new agreement between Kevin-Prince Boateng and Schalke. Every party has agreed on that.”
