Ghana defender Lee Addy has revealed he is going through injury frustrations at Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb as he has been out of action for the entire 2014/15 season.
Addy suffered the nagging knee injury way back in February while in action for Dinamo as he limped off in their 2-2 draw at Rijeka.
The 25-year-old has remained in the treatment room since then, causing Dinamo to leave him out of their squad for the season.
“It has been difficult for me to recover from this injury. I have never suffered a bad injury like this in my career but I am thankful I have people supporting me to recover and soon I could be fit,” he told Accra-based Starr FM.
Addy was hoping to make the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup but he was unable to recover in time to be considered.
