OCT 25, 2014 LISTEN

Former Hearts of Oak head coach David Duncan is keen to revive the 'old' rivalry between his former club and newly-promoted Great Olympics.

Duncan,50, has taken over as head coach at Olympics and is working silently to bring the club up to speed with the standards he desires.

Hearts of Oak and Olympic have had their decades old existing rivalry quenched due to Olympics long spell in the wilderness but after regaining promotion, Duncan is eager to bring back the good old days.

“It is my wish and desire to bring back that age old rivalry between these two great Clubs, because the league needs that excitement once more,” he told reporters at Olympics' training grounds in El-Wak in Accra.

Its going to be exciting and I believe the fans are also looking forward to local derbies between the two clubs.”

Duncan was head coach at Hearts of Oak until he has mysteriously sacked by the club's board last September.
