Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan is undergoing intensive treatment in the a top hospital in the UAE to get him fit to play for Al Ain in their league matches from next week.

Al Ain first team doctor Boban Dangubic has revealed that the Ghana international has been undergoing treatment twice a day to ensure his quick recovery.

An intensive two-shift treatment programme has been designed for Gyan to be fit before the scheduled League break.

Gyan, who only returned from Ghana's African Cup of Nations qualifier and injured himself after he came on in the second half against Al Dhafrah last Friday, underwent a radiation test at the Al Ain Hospital.

“We will be racing against time to have Gyan back before the break starts. We are hoping that he will respond well to the treatment and recover soon,” the Croatian doctor Dangubic said.

The UAE giants are seeking to get him fit for the trip to Dubai for the mouth-watering fixture against defending Arabian Gulf League champions Al Ahli, next Monday.

Al Ain's ace marksman Asamoah Gyan, who missed the League game against Emirates on Wednesday night, will be racing against time to be fit for that game.

With the UAE side seeking to defend their league title, Gyan's presence will be vital.
