Ghanaian midfielder Enock Adu Kofi is gutted after his Malmo FF slipped to a 5-0 loss against Spanish side Atletico Madrid in Wednesday night's Uefa Champions League clash.

The Swedish champions held their Spanish counterparts well for the opening 45 minutes of the game but the second-half turned strange for the Sky Blues as Atletico run rout, netting five times to snatch a lopsided win.

“We played very well in the first-half and should have held on in the second-half but we lost our concentration and they took advantage of that to score more goals,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com after the game.

The visitors, who were the first away outfit to play at the Vicente Calderón in the European Cup 48 years ago, held out until the 48th minute when Koke scored from close range.

The midfielder then set up goals for Mario Mandžuki?, Antoine Griezmann and Diego Godín before substitute Alessio Cerci added a fifth in added time.
