LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving all completed over 30 minutes for the Cavs - the first time that trio have started together for Cleveland against NBA opposition, after previously combining to start against Maccabi Electra.

The Cavaliers moved to a 5-1 win-loss record in pre-season with their victory against the Bulls, outscoring Chicago in all bar one quarter to triumph.

Irving (28 points) led the way for Cleveland, while James (18) was also handy, with Love only managing nine points but pulling down 13 rebounds.

Anderson Varejao (22 points) also impressed for the Cavaliers.

For the Bulls, Derrick Rose (30 points) was the top scorer, while Pau Gasol (12) also worked hard.

The Milwaukee Bucks blitzed the New York Knicks in the final term to win 120-107 at Madison Square Garden.

New York led by five points at half-time but trailed 94-93 with a quarter to play at home before the Bucks surged away, scoring 26 points to 14 in an impressive finale.

OJ Mayo (24 points) and John Henson (11 points, 10 rebounds) were two of Milwaukee's leading performers, while Carmelo Anthony (24 points) put in a typically good shift for the Knicks.

Reigning champions the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Sacramento Kings 106-99, while the Brooklyn Nets won 99-88 over the Philadelphia 76ers and the Atlanta Hawks needed overtime to edge out the Charlotte Hornets 117-114.

The Dallas Mavericks prevailed 108-103 over the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans won 88-84 against the Washington Wizards.
