FORMER Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in five of his six appearances against Premier League teams in Europe, but on Wednesday he heads to Anfield which has not been a happy hunting ground personally.
During his spell at Manchester United, the Portugal international scored twice in nine appearances against their arch-rivals, although he never managed the feat away from home.

Ronaldo was withdrawn after 67 minutes to make way for defender John O'Shea after Wes Brown was sent off. Wayne Rooney scored.
