Ex-Ghana striker Kim Grant has revealed he will continue to knock at the doors of the Football Association after failing to make the cut for the vacant Black Stars coaching job.

The former Charlton Athletic player was among the 28 persons who applied for the job after the dismissal of Kwesi Appiah.

Grant, 41, says he is open to the other national sides and remains keen on developing talents for using his links as the West African scout for English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

“I am not open to only the Black Stars job I am looking to help my nation and I will do that any capacity the authorities deem me fit,” the former Woking manager said on Accra based Peace FM

“I speak the local language and well equipped to come on board to give a helping hand any time I am called upon.

“I will always push for them GFA to give me a chance to help out.”

Grant played for Ghana between 1996 and 1997 and made seven appearances.
