The Ghana Football Association has revealed that the Black Stars squad for next week's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Guinea will be released on Wednesday.

Several squads have published as the Black Stars team to face Syle Nationale of Guinea in Casablanca next week.

But the GFA insists the official squad will be released on Wednesday saying the squads published elsewhere is not the official list of the Black Stars.

“We have not released the Black Stars squad yet. All the list you have seen are all speculations. The squad will be released on the GFA's official website and the mailing list of the GFA on Wednesday,” GFA's Director of Communications Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Montie FM on Tuesday night.

Caretaker coach of the Black Stars, Maxwell Konadu was speculated to have invited 22 players for the day-three 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Ghana are second on the log with four points from a possible six while Guinea are third on three points.

The last time the two teams met, both picked a point each in a group stage match at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The Black Stars will play Guinea in Casablanca, Morocco on October 11 before hosting the return leg in Tamale four days on.
