Ex-Great Olympics star Godwin Attram has criticized the recruitment style of the club, less than 24 hours before the transfer window shuts in Ghana.

Olympics are making a return to the Ghanaian top-flight after a four-year stint in the country's second-tier league.

Olympics were reported to have been busy in the transfer market but looks like deals for experienced players have fallen through, claims 34-year-old Attram.

Goalkeeper Joseph Halm and Augustine defender Augustine Sefah were believed to be have been signed  by the club but their former captain Godwin Attram claims the club is practically joking in the transfer market.

“I think for a club like Olympics they don't need players for justifiers they need to promote young ones from their junior side and moreover,” he told Asempa FM

“You go to the training ground to see if any top notch player has been signed. Everyday you will see close to 90 players trying out.

“A great club like Olympics cannot be engaging in try and luck business. They need to get serious and buy players. I have told management boss Fred Pappoe and I just hope they will do something about it and fast.

“I have willingly given out seven of my good players from my Academy to them free of charge.”

The club has failed to tie deals for experienced defenders Dan Quaye and Issah Ahmed while negotiations with ex-Ghana Under-20 star Daniel Addo is hanging on a thread.
