Hearts goalkeepers' trainer Edward Ansah is rallying support for the club's shot-stoppers ahead of the new season.

The capital-based side have drafted in two goalies – Soulama Abdoulaye and young Mutawakilu Seidu with Tetteh Luggard expected to give them stiff competition.

The capital-based side are hungry for success after playing catch-ups to sworn-rivals Hearts of Oak over the last three seasons.

But there will be massive pressure on the side and especially the goalkeepers from demanding Hearts supporters who will not take anything apart from the title as solid achievement.

Edward Ansah, who has rejoined the side after leaving South African side Black Leopards, wants fans to measure their criticism of his goalkeepers.

“We are preparing steadily and so I will plead with the fans to measure the criticism of the goalkeepers, “he said

“Playing for Hearts comes with lots of responsibilities and its own associated pressure.

“But I believe we have the best materials in camp at the moment. We working on their sharpness and reflexes and I believe they will be in top shape before the season starts.

“They all have equal chance of becoming number one and so let's give them time to settle in the club.”

Hearts have lined up a friendly against deadl rivals Asante Kotoko next month.
