Mr. Charles Kissi Abrah (aka Honourable) emerged tops at the end of the maiden draught competition organised at Kwabert Pub at Adenta on Founder's day.

Abraham won all his games from a field of eight contestants which included crack draught players such as veteran journalist, Francis Assuah, Anane Frempong, a retired senior customs officer, Ike Kwofie, Addy, Mensah, Ernest Annan-Prah, and Alhaji Kofi Adu Okyere. For his prize Abraham received a gold plated trophy.

The competition was facilitated by Messrs Ebo Afful, Senior lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), William Benjamin Assuah, Deputy General Manager, Inspection Control Services (ICS) and Peter Agbeko, a communications consultant, all residents of Adenta and the surrounding areas.

The next competition which is expected to attract greater patronage is scheduled for the upcoming Eid al-Adha holiday (Feast of Sacrifice), Monday 6 October 2014.
