Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan scored the opening goal for Al Ain who posted a 2-0 win over Al Wasl in the Arabian Gulf League on Saturday evening.
Gyan opened the scoring for Al Ain in the 36th minute before former Chelsea midfielder Miroslav Stoch cemented the win for Al Ain with a late 91st minute strike.
It was Al Ain's opening game of the brand new UAE season and the Black Stars captain scored his first goal in the opening game of the season.
