Goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye played his first match for Hearts of Oak on Wednesday in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Division One League side Mighty Jets at the ATTC training ground.

Eric Tagoe scored the only goal of the game four minutes into the second half.

Herbert Addo's side struggled to get their game going in the friendly encounter with the Division One side.

The Phobians have their eyes on Sunday's GHALCA Top 4 final with AshantiGold, but they were given a tough a test ahead of the decider.

Ex-Kotoko goalkeeper Abdoulaye, was handed a start and he lasted 45 minutes in Hearts colours.

But Tetteh Luggard who replaced the Burkina Faso international after the break had to pull the ball from his nets four minutes after joining the action.

Hearts troubles were compounded when Emmanuel Hayford wobbled off with a serious knee injury.

Despite the Phobians dominating the exchanges, they failed to pull parity.

Hearts starting XI: Soulama Abdoulaye (Tetteh Luggard 45), Owusu Bempah, Shaun October (Isaac Oduro 45), Nuru Sule, Robin Gnagne (Vincent Atinga), Paul Acquah, Issah Mumuni, Gilbert Fiamenyo (Hamza Mohammed 45), Kwame Kizito (Acheampong 45), Emmanuel Hayford (Kofi Abanga).
