Harry Potter's journey through Wizardry brought quite surprising views as beaters and seekers tried in earnest to win points for their respective houses with the quidditch rivalry going beyond the game. Malfoy did well to get new broomsticks to put Slytherin ahead but this past few months the magic from the various European leagues has followed suit with money being the focal point. Many did business before the world cup to show their intent but the best, was left for the last; just as always.

Paris Saint Germain; the French showed how the window would operate as they forked out £50 million for David Luiz as they prepared for the season. This proved worthwhile with Thiago Silva pairing up with him in the Selecao side that showed up at the World cup. Barcelona made the next big move which shocked the football community with Luiz Suarez leaving Anfield for Camp Nou for £75million (£65 million that's what they say). Barcelona season has been kind of awkward with the lifting of ban in the transfer window for numerous buys bringing in Mathieu, Douglas, Rikitic with Song, Xavi and Sanchez all leaving Spain.

The Catalans have however fallen back into the ban. Los Galacticos; you say that what pride with over £300 million on the field. First, Rodriguez stunning goal in the world cup did the trick as he left with the much coveted Golden ball as he favored a move to Madrid worth quite a whole. Toni Kroos followed suit as they tried effortlessly to shake up the squad.

The Costa Ricans now have vivid support in Madrid following good display by the goalie as he proved his worth between the sticks. Lopez, Alonso and probably the protracted transfer of the summer Angel Di Maria all left the Spanish soils for new exploits.

Chelsea was involved in early business and wasrepaid with Diego Costa and Fabregas finalizing their deals while representing their nations at the World Cup. Felipe Luis came into the frame but also sprang into action as the £50 million man moved to the San Siro for the remaining years on his contract.

26 is adored at the club as JT's number but yet again its stands for the number of Chelsea players out on loan. Atsu falls in the bracket with his move to Everton as McEachran rolls out for Vitesse. Van Ginkel follows Torres to Milan as he tries to regain his form that brought him to the Bridge. Balotelli returns to England as Liverpool made lots out of the saints with the purchase of Lambert, Lallana and Lovren.

Manchester City made it an 'in-house project' as they striked deals with a host of their talents persuading them to remain at Etihad with Mangala and Fernando their only imports. Impulse buying or whatever it is referred to puts United in a similar bracket as of last season.

Di Maria came in late as they did deals for Shaw and Rojo coming in for Nani. 'Small Pea' made way for the mega deal with Falcao coming in to beef up the attack. Welbeck stars for the Gunners as they throw their stingy nature aside for Sanchez to beef up the attack. Chambers came in to solidify the defense with Walcott return from injury a 'sort of' new buy.

Weasley's performance in his quidditch cameo gives a reason for Hull City tigers to be mentioned. Ben Arfa, Diame have been a positive impact in the market alongside QPR making Caulker, Ferdinand and Sandro a positive approach to the league.

The window would be open back in January in a bid to correct all the wrongs and as a falling Harry Potter reaches the ground. A resounding Dumbledore brings him to a stop for the magic to fill the remainder of the season so until it reopens; ARRESTO MOMENTUM'.
