Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah could name a familiar starting line-up to face Uganda on Saturday afternoon at the Baba Yara Stadium in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The soft-spoken trainer will retain 98 percent of the team which played at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Fatau Dauda, who recently returned to action after signing for Chippa United, will be named between the sticks and given cover by centre-backs John Boye and Jonathan Mensah.

Harrison Afful retains his right-back position but on the left will be Leicester City's Jeffrey Schlupp who was dropped from the World Cup provisional squad.

In midfield, Mohammed Rabiu will be the anchor and supported by Juventus ace Kwadwo Asamoah.

Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu will be operating from the flanks.

Captain Asamoah Gyan will lead the lines and backed by Trabzonspor new boy Abdul Majeed Waris.

Kick-off is at 16:00  GMT.
