Ghana U20 prospect Koby Arthur scored the second goal for Cheltenham Town who comfortably defeated Oxford United 2-0 in a Johnstone's Paint Trophy round of 32 clash on Tuesday evening.

The 18-year-old who went into the game with a splendid match-winning show for Cheltenham during the weekend once again highlighted his imperious form by scoring the second 12 minutes from time at the The Abbey Business Stadium in Gloucestershire.

Arthur, who is on loan from Championship side Birmingham City walked into the Cheltenham starting line-up following his bravado display on Saturday evening and he maintained his consistency by cementing the win for the Robins.

Cheltenham introduced Terry Gornell to allow John Marquis the chance to receive the standing ovation he deserved but Gornell was soon earning an applause of his own. His drive into Oxford's area finally led to a cross towards the back post and Koby Arthur was on hand to leap and head the ball into the back of the net for Cheltenham's second and his fourth of the season.

He has been in fine shape for Cheltenham since joining them on loan before the start of the season.
