Falconets' Asisat Oshoala became the subject on the tongue of her team-mates when her four goals and two assist propelled Nigeria to the finals of the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Canada. Nigeria have made a triumphant entry to the finals with a 6-2 victory over Korea DPR and Oshoala's team-mate could not hide their feelings for the striker.

“When we're together on the pitch I prefer to have her just behind me, in the hole, so she can give me assists like the one today,” she said.
“She's a better footballer than she is a singer,” Sarah Nnodim, singing partner and team's choir leader said of her.
“She filled in for me and that's good, because it shows we are a real team and we all help each other out,” she added.
“I was excited to see her play so well – excited and very happy. She's the player we love the most and she's the leader. And she always does her very best too,” said skipper Ebere Okoye.
"She's a lot of fun and she spends the whole day joking around. Asisat carried the coach around on her shoulders because she's the strongest and the only one able to do it, but if we win on Sunday, I promise that we'll all do it," said Loveth Ayila.
Nigeria will meet Germany in the finals on Sunday.
