Former Asante Kotoko and now Berekum Chelsea striker Eric Bekoe is seeking to be declared a free agent after applying to the Player Status Committee.
According to a GFA statement, Club's who have players seeking floating status are to put in an appearance on Thursday 21st August, 2014 at 10am.
Bekoe, who saw little playing time for Chelsea in the immediate campaign is the highest profile player on a list which also includes four players from Ebusua Dwarfs, who were demoted after last season's Premier League.
Also, former Chelsea coach Hans Van Der Pluym has put in a request to be handed floating status when he appears before the panel on Thursday.
