The Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Black Stars participation at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has promised to deliver a well-structured system that will ensure that mistakes of past competitions become a thing of the past.

Headed by Justice Senyo Dzamefe, the Commission blamed the scandal that rocked the team's Brazil World Cup participation on system failure.

The quasi-judicial body gave the assurance that it will come up with recommendations after the session that will mop up the deficiencies that necessitated the sitting.

It suggested that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports should set parameters like making players sign contracts ahead of invitations to all the national teams stating terms and mode of allowance payments, code of conducts and other rules and regulations.

'We want to institute a system that will ensure that no national team receives cash as mode of payment. The technical team should be made to sign performance contracts that will make them go the extra mile because the longer they stay in the competition, the fatter their purses will become.

'We would have done better at the World Cup if there was a system in place. We were told our players were meeting management as late at 2 and 3 am over cash, while other teams were resting. From now onwards no national team will see cash,' said Justice Dzamefe.

Sitting took a break yesterday but resumes today, with the probability of former Youth and Sports Minister Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah appearing before the Commission comprising Justice Dzamefe, Moses Foh Amoaning and Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko.
