Kim Choi Ok of Korea DPR pulled three saves in the shootouts as Korea DPR beat the US by 3-1 in the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Quarter Final match at the National Soccer Stadium on Saturday in Toronto, Canada.

Michelle French's side took the lead as early as the 6th minute through Mackenzy Doniak. The goal was orchestrated by the skillful Mallory Pugh as she dribbled past two defenders down the flank before sending a low inviting cross to the striker to fire home the lead.

The Korean's came close in the 18th minute when Jon So-Yon's left footed free kick went straight against the cross bar.

Korea DPR kept pressing deep into the US half from the break and deservedly got their equalizer in the 54th minute from Jon So Yon's spot kick.

Chances were few and far between in the extra time as both sides played a more cautious game to push the game into penalty shootouts where Kim saved Savannah Jordan, Lindsey Horan and Rose Lavelled's kicks.
