Ghana Under-20 coach Sellas Tetteh has stated that he will relish the opportunity of coaching the Black Stars in future.

The 2009 U-20 World Cup winning coach said he is in no rush for the top job being held by Kwesi Appiah, but is quite optimistic that time will come.

'Yes. We wait for the good Lord. I have been there before, I have the experience to coach the Black Stars, I have the experience to wait for my time. It will happen,' the former technical director of Liberty Professionals told Metro TV .

Tetteh said he is one of the best coaches in Ghana.

'I am one of them. If I'm called upon, I have to serve my nation. It doesn't mean that if I don't coach the Black Stars I will not be counted as a good coach.'

After a stupendous performance at the U-20 World Cup in Turkey last year, the Black Satellites coach said he expected at least two of his bronze medal winning team to make the final squad of the Black Stars at the 2014 World Cup. His 2009 U-20 gold winning team in Egypt gave Milovan Rajevac (former Ghana coach) nine players for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, of which five made the squad to the Mundial in South Africa.

'I expected one or two of my players; my striker (Ebenezer Assifuah) and Frank Acheampong (to make the final squad), but the coach knows what he was doing,' Tetteh noted.
