Sports News Edwin Gyimah reveals: Why i left Supersports United
JUL 31, 2014 LISTEN

Edwin Gyimah says the reason he left SuperSport United is because coach Cavin Johnson didn't want him anymore.

The Ghanaian international joined Mpumalanga Black Aces on a one-year deal, but the 23-year-old says he was left with little option.

'From what I heard from the club, the coach didn't want me anymore,' Gyimah says.

'I have always wanted to stay but, if they don't want me there, if the coach doesn't want me …I had to leave."

Gyimah continues: 'I never knew something like this would happen. I was surprised too, but if someone doesn't want you, you have to find a way and go ahead with your life.

'If I had to stay I would have spent my time on the bench or in the stands. He [Johnson] took a decision; he decided my future at the club.'
