Sunderland are poised to seal a loan deal for Chelsea winger Christian Atsu, 22, who has been on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.

Arsenal
Arsenal have been boosted in their chase for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira as the Spanish side are ready to sell in the current transfer window according to the Daily Mirror.

Real Madrid's sudden u-turn in the deal for Khedira is as a result of reports claiming the Germany World Cup winner will join German Champions Bayern Munich on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of next season.

Barcelona
Juan Cuadrado's agent has denied negotiations with Spanish club Barcelona.

Alessandro Lucci said:
'We have been in direct contact for a while. They have expressed their interest, but there have not been any actual negotiations.'

Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku has completed his transfer from Chelsea to Everton on permanent basis in a £24 million transfer deal.

Jose Mourinho wished the striker well but not without a parting shot:

'The thinking behind the move was the fact that Romelu was always very clear with us, in his mentality, in his approach, he was not highly motivated to come to a competitive situation at Chelsea.

'The only thing we can do is wish him well.'
Liverpool
Liverpool striker Fabio Borini could still leave the Anfield club for Sunderland after manager Gus Poyet confirmed his club has reopened talks over a £14 million transfer according to the Daily Express.

Manchester City
New Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, 32, signed for £4.4m from Malaga this summer, is determined to take Joe Hart's position.

Manchester United
Manchester United have had a £47m bid accepted for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, 27, and the Chile international is happy with the personal terms on offer at Old Trafford according to Caught Offside.

Manchester United midfielder Maroune Fellaini has agreed to join Italian Serie A side Napoli but the English club are holding out for an £18 million transfer fee.

Fellaini signed for Manchester United from Everton on deadline day in the last summer window for a fee of £27.5 million.

The Daily Telegraph reports Manchester United forward Wilfried Zaha, 21, insists he can establish himself in the team under Louis van Gaal and says previous manager David Moyes gave him "no chance" last season.
