1 down, 2 to go: Muniru and Cluj face Dinamo Minsk test in Europa League

Sulley Ali Muniru is in high spirits confident that his club will overcome the challenge of Belarus giants, Dinamo Minsk who Cluj take on in the third qualifying round of the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League as they continue the search for a group stage ticket.

Muniru was ever present in both matches as Cluj saw off the challenge of Serbia side, Jagodina in the 2nd qualifying round over the past two weeks but there is not time to rest at all as they go straight into the next qualifying round on Thursday.

It's the first leg of their 3rd qualifying round tie against 8-time Belarus champions Minsk who defeated Finnish side, MYPA 3-0 on aggregate in the last round to set up the tie against Cluj who beat Jagodina 1-0 of course over their own two legs.

But Muniru who flew from Romania with the Cluj entourage on Wednesday morning, has told Allsports.com.gh they are focused on the job at hand even though they are well aware Minsk are in form, leading the Belarus league by 3 clear points after 18 matches.

'My expectation for this game is the same as always, expecting to win. We are just going to play well there. I think we are doing well at the moment so hope we have a good day and personally I also want to play well,' the 21 year old Ghanaian told Allsports.com.gh exclusively.

'Everything is good here, we have had a very good preparation and I'm sure we will be ready. We are just about going to Belarus now,' he added.
