Kittel beat Katusha's Alexander Kristoff on the line to take victory on the Champs-Elysees in Paris.

The win marked the German's fourth stage success of the race after he also emerged victorious in three of the first four legs, including the opener in the Yorkshire town of Harrogate.

However, the 26-year-old was eager to deflect praise towards his colleagues.

"Not only was I super strong, it was the whole team that did an amazing job," Kittel told ITV.

"I'm super happy that it worked out. I've left my mark here.

"It's amazing to win of this special road."
Rafal Majka finished the race as King of the Mountains, salvaging some glory for Tinkoff-Saxo after their candidate for the yellow jersey, Alberto Contador, crashed out on stage 10.

The Pole was understandably delighted with his showing, and is looking forward to returning along with two-time Tour winner Contador in 2015.

"I'm so happy. Standing on the Champs-Elysees on the podium," Majka said.

"I still need to learn a lot, we fight for the next year, for sure we're coming with Alberto [Contador]."
