Farewell: Kotoko pay final respect to Jerry Asare

The Casket, which was donated by Kotoko was decorated in the red and white colours  of the club, which depicts he was a true Porcupine Warrior. The burial ceremony was witnessed by a large Kotoko fans, who trooped to Adukrom to give the late Jerry Asare a befitting burial.

This will be followed by the funeral ceremony  at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra in the afternoon where friends and well-wishers will gather once again to pay their final respect to the deceased.

The late Jerry Asare was a true Kotoko man, because he started at the Cycles level as a supporter, before he was first appointed into the Management of the club during Major (rtd) Yaw Larsen's led administration in 2004 as Accra Rep. He continued throughout the Sylvester Asare Owusu's era between 2006 and 2009 as the the Operations Director. In 2010, Jerry Asare's relationship with Kotoko was further renewed when he was appointed as a member of the Dr. K.K Sarpong's led board and also became the club's Accra Representative.
