Captain of the Ghana Black Stars Asamoah Gyan has extended his contract with United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.
The Ghanaian was presented at a press conference in the UAE on Thursday.
Gyan linked up with his Al Ain club on Monday after delaying his trip due to the Castro incident. The Al Ain star man however missed the club's 4-0 victory in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
Gyan said at his contract extension press conference:
'I am very happy to extend my contract until 2018 and I thank all the fans for their support.
'I'll finish my career in Al Ain.'
