No show: Gyan sits out of Al Ain win

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan sat out on Wednesday when his Al Ain club played Al Kuwaiti in a pre-season friendly.

Gyan returned to the Al Ain camp on Monday after delaying his link up with the club due to the Castro incident in Ghanan.

Al Ain however did not miss Gyan in the game against Al Kuwaiti as the UAE club won the game by a comfortable four-goal margin.

Kimpo scored the first goal of the game before Miroslav added a second before the first half interval.

Kimpo completed his brace before Mohammed Abdul Rahman scored the last goal in the 4-0 victory for Al Ain.

Gyan is expected to play a part in Friday's game against Al Nasrr.

The Ghana forward tweeted after the game against Al Kuwaiti on Wednesday:
