Greuther Fürth president Helmut Hack has admitted difficulty in holding onto their Ghanaian defender Baba Abdul Rahman as he closes in on a move to top-flight side Augsburg.

Rahman is a subject of intense bidding from some Bundesliga clubs with Augsburg in particular keen to land his services.

They have reportedly table an offer which is becoming increasingly difficult to reject considering their current financial position.

The former Asante Kotoko defender is eager to return to the Bundesliga and increase his chances of breaking into the Black Stars and the club president Helmu Hack has confirmed he could join Augsburg.

“There is an offer for Baba from Augsburg and it's looking very much likely,” he said

“We are in a situation now and so does not matter. We want the best option for him.

“We are not in a position to spend money on players and also have financial possibilities so its becoming difficult.”

“We'll see whether Baba will receive approval.
The Bundesliga 11 outfit are demanding a fee believed to be in the region of four million Euros for their prize asset.
