Luiz Suarez is undertaking a medical in Uruguay under the supervision of Barcelona doctors as the Liverpool forward nears a move to the Spanish La Liga.
The deal to sign the English Premier League golden boot winner will be completed before the weekend after the striker's agent traveled to Barcelona to negotiate a weekly wage in the region of £170 000-a-week.
Liverpool gave Barcelona permission to negotiate with the forward after coming to agreement on a transfer fee of about £63 million.
The Catalan giants will pay £54 million upfront with other terms and conditions for the remainder of the money.
The transfer move have been slowed by Alexis Sanchez refusing to move to Liverpool as part payment of the Suarez deal. Barcelona will however go on to fund the deal with the £30 million from Arsenal for the Chilean winger.
Ghanaian Players
Trabzonspor have started transfer talks with Ghana midfielder Michael Essien with AC Milan looking to cash in on the former Chelsea player according to Goal Ghana.
Arsenal
The Gunners want £6m for Mikel Arteta, 32, following interest from Italian club Fiorentina in the midfielder, who is in the final year of his contract according to the Times.
Arsenal will be willing to make Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira their highest paid player to lure the Germany star to the English Premier League according to the Daily Mail.
Barcelona
Barcelona have accidentally confirmed the transfer of Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez from the Spanish La Liga side to English Premier League side Arsenal. The confirmation was also compounded by Alexis Sanchez's hairdresser who also posted on Facebook :
'Alexis Sanchez visited us to say goodbye. As reported, he'll join Arsenal'
The completion of the Sanchez deal also confirms Barcelona would have to pay full cash for Luis Suarez after the Chilean refused to join the Reds in an exchange deal.
Barcelona are keen on Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, 27, if they fail to sign main defensive targets Marquinhos and Jeremy Mathieu according to reports in the Sun.
Chelsea
Chelsea have signed Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis for £20 million.The 28-year old Brazilian-born left-back played against the Blues in the Champions League semi-final last season and steps in to replace Ashley Cole who has left to join Roma according to The Sun.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are set to battle it out for Benfica winger Joao Filipe, dubbed 'the next Cristiano Ronaldo', and goalkeeper Joao Virginia, both just 15 according to the Daily Express.
Liverpool
Kolo Toure is set to leave Liverpool as the Ivory Coast defender is wanted by two Qatari clubs Al Saad and Al Gharafa according to the Daily Star.

Manchester City
Manchester City have been given a deadline of 21 July to sign Morocco centre back Mehdi Benatia by AS Roma according to the Guardian.
The Daily Express reports Alvaro Negredo's hopes of leaving Manchester City and joining Atletico Madrid diminished last night after the Spanish club agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for Croatia forward Mario Mandzukic. City have also been told by Roma to make up their mind about Morocco defender Mehdi Benatia, who has been training on his own since becoming aware of their interest. City will only press ahead if No 1 target, Porto centre-back Eliaquim Mangala, is not interested in moving to the Etihad.
