Traditionally, the Premier League title race is always a battle between two sides but for the 2013-14 campaign, it has looked a one-horse race.

It's approaching the climax to the season where leaders, Asante Kotoko with a 10-point lead need just a win on Wednesday to seal back-to-back titles.

However, the race to beat the drop for is the most exciting in recent years as the gap between the fourth-placed team and the third from bottom is just 3 points in the 16-team league.

Champions, Kotoko, after their humiliating defeat in Accra last Saturday to Inter Allies have another opportunity to wrap up the title. This time, at the Tamale Stadium if they beat Wa All Stars, who are pushing for safety, though they lie in fourth place.

Kotoko could crown themselves as winners of the competition on match-day-27 in far away Tamale where they adopt as home as they continue to serve a temporal home ban.

With a wide gap separating them and the top, Hearts of Oak will rather set their sights on claiming the second Champions League slot as they chase second place.

Sitting in third position, the Phobians travel to the Essipon Stadium to face Hasaacas and will be eager to collect all three points as their rivals for second-place, Heart of Lions do not play in midweek.

The rise of the debutants, Inter Allies will be tested yet again at the Tema Stadium where they meet New Edubiase.

AshantiGold, with a game in hand on their challengers for top-four play King Faisal at the Len Clay Stadium. Faisal are level on points - 33 - with Medeama - third from bottom with three games in hand.

Level on points - 33, the clash between Liberty and Amidaus at the Carl Reindorf Park will be a very close contest as the repercussions of defeat would prove disastrous to either side's survival quest.

Bottom side, Ebusua Dwarfs need to up their performance on their visit to the Golden City Park where they play Berekum Chelsea. Just three points separates Dwarfs from their opponents.

On Thursday at the Bechem Park, home side, Bechem will take on Aduana Stars.
