Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah could be in a race to be fit for the World Cup after Red Bull Salzburg revealed he will not be available for selection in the 'foreseeable future'.
The 25-year-old was expected to return to the pitch after he recovered from a six-month long injury lay-off.
However the club's sporting director Ralf Rangnick has revealed the Ghanaian international is not expected to the pitch anytime soon.
“Isaac Vorsah will not be available to us in the foreseeable future and on Rodnei we have to wait. During the next two to three days we will make a decision,” Rangnick is quoted by Laola1.at .
The Austrian powerhouse are already in the market scouring for Vorsah's replacement as his recovery has delayed.
The former TSG Hoffenheim defender is desperate to be full fit ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in June.
