David Duncan's lawyer Emmanuel Larbi Amoah insists his client is prepared for another round of legal battle against Hearts of Oak in an expected appeal.

The Ghana Premier League giants have been ordered to pay about $40, 000 in compensation for the unfair dismissal of David Duncan.

But the Phobians' top hierarchy have already given notification of their intention to appeal the ruling by the Ghana FA's Status Committee.

Legal Counsel for David Duncan however insists his client in unfazed by the numerous threats of appeal from his former employers.

“Nobody is saying you cannot terminate the contract but then clauses of the same contract must be followed,” lawyer Larbi Amoah told Radio Gold.

“How can you dismiss a coach and not serve him official notice for over three weeks.

“They should stop making these noises and pay Duncan the due compensation because the grounds for his dismissal were not fair.

“If they want to appeal that is fine, we are prepared to meet them again but for now the judgement is for Hearts to pay Duncan the due compensation.”

Duncan was shockingly given the boot by Hearts' board after just over a year in charge.

The ex AshantiGold trainer during his reign managed to turn the side into a real title contender from their relegation-threatened form last term.
