
Accra, Feb 29, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sent a goodwill and congratulatory message to Memunata Sulemana, goalkeeper of the national female soccer team, the Black Queens for being invited in the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Women's World Stars Team.
Keeper Sulemana leaves Ghana on May 19, for Paris to join other colleagues to play the 2003 World Champions, Germany on May 20, at Stade de France in Paris.
A statement signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the GFA and copied to the GNA Sports said the match forms part of FIFA's 100 years anniversary celebration.
The released further stated that the match would preceed the France vrs Brazil match to be played on the same day. Keeper Sulemana has been a sole inspirer to the Black Queens for the past years and has single handedly stood between opponents of the Queens and victory in many encounters.
