The Chief Executive Officer of Chocho Industries, Alhaji Mustapha Oti Boateng, told the sporting media in Accra yesterday that all was set for the  Chocho Interfaith Games.

The Games, which primarily seeks to promote peace in the country, will draw 12 religious bodies to battle for supremacy at the Nicholson Stadium, Burma Camp.

'The stage is set for the games, we have done everything by way of organisation to ensure the success of the games, and we believe our dream of using it to unify us as a people would be realised.

'The relative peace we enjoy  as a people faces its biggest challenge yet with the ongoing election 2012 court petition. The core of our foundation at  Chocho as an enterprise  is protecting and preserving cherished values and treasures, hence our slogan-'Somu yie', translated means 'hold with care'. Ghana's biggest resource is not gold, timber etc rather its people,' Alhaji Boateng stated.

At stake for the ultimate winner is a brand new Mazda Demio salon car and a trophy, while the first runner-up will take home a LED Flat screen television, a trophy   in a press conference.

New Fadama Mosque will take on Suhum Ahmadiyya Moslem Mission in the first game of the day for 15 minutes, and would be followed by the Adentan Pentecost-Christ For All Church of Taborah Alhaji for the second game.

Royal House Chapel, Ahenfie will battle with the Rastafarian Movement, Accra with SDA, Nungua playing the Church of Latter Day Saints, Accra.

The Ghana Police Church, Accra will sort things out with Presbyterian Church, Kasoa, while Hari Krishna will face the Traditionalists, Accra.

Winner of game one will face the second game winner, while the third winner will face the fourth game winner in that order.

The women will also engage in a tug-of-war competition and winners would be rewarded accordingly with attractive prizes and Chocho products.
