Red Bull Ghana's U-17 side won silver in their second appearance at the International Tournament in Croix, France this week.
After coming second in their tournament debut last year, the Ghanaian side were hoping to win it this season but Danish side, FC Nordsjaelland ended their dream, winning 3-2 on penalties.
Despite the final heartache, Red Bull celebrated success on other fronts.
They were rewarded for their fine attacking display with the Best Attacking Team award and David Atanga, who scored five goals at the tournament won the trophy for the Best Attacker.
Red Bull's Raphael Dwamena was voted the Best Player of the tournament.
The Ghanaian side got their campaign off on Saturday after a 1-1 draw with Austria Vienna as Raphael Dwamena scored the opener and returned the next day to thrash Portuguese team, FC Porto.
A brace each by David Atanga and Raphael Dwamena made the difference as Red Bull won 4-0 against Porto.
They followed up with a 2-0 semi-final victory over the host team from Croix with David Atanga scoring twice again.
In the final on Monday, FC Nordsjaelland scored the first before David Atanga equalized.
But during the penalty lottery, three Red Bull players missed from the spot despite goalkeeper Zigi Ati Lawrence saving one kick.
